Aquavisions Installed in all Exclusive Hotels (press release)

Award winning luxury hotel group Exclusive Hotels is continually investing in its luxury country house hotels. Aquavision in-wall waterproof televisions are always specified by the group to give the suites and bathrooms the ‘wow’ factor.   The 14th Century Manor House in the Cotswolds has completely refurbished some of its suites and bathrooms mixing the latest technology in traditional surroundings.

The four-star family owned country house retreat sits in acres of woodland and formal gardens and has 48 individually styled bedrooms and suites including luxury mews cottages.  Interior designer Monia Allegretti  of Archinterio who is responsible for the design at all the hotels in the group wanted guests to be able to relax in the tranquil bathrooms and enjoy the amazing views over the village from the bathroom of the Archway Cottage.  Downstairs is the lounge, sitting room and wood-burner.  Monia designed the upstairs space just for the roll-top bath, blue lighting and Aquavision.  Adjacent to this space is a bathroom with ‘his n hers’ sinks, large walk-in shower and original stone window frames. The bedroom is up three further steps at the very top of the mews cottage.  The 26” Series 4 Aquavision has the MirrorVision finish – when the television is switched off, the glass takes the form of a mirror that is suitable for shaving, make-up etc.  When it is turned on, the mirror gives way to the television screen. All Aquavision’s feature heated screens to prevent misting-up, DVB-T, 2 x HDMI inputs, full Scart input and IR in/out connections and come with a waterproof remote control and waterproof in-wall speakers.

“We always choose Aquavision as they blend in and work so well with all our designs.  The picture quality is high, and we know our discerning guests appreciate these added luxuries when they visit our hotels,” commented Monia.

In additional to the remote control the RSP, a unique remote switch panel, gives guests instant control of their television without having to find the remote control.  This is the perfect solution for hoteliers who are frequently having to replace the batteries or even the remote controls themselves ‘which have walked’.  Installed into a simple back box, the same size as a normal light switch, the switch panel provides the user with simple, discrete, and permanent operation of the basic functions.

The in-wall, waterproof TVs also feature in the other Exclusive Hotels including Pennyhill Park Hotel and The Spa, South Lodge Hotel and Lainston House Hotel.
